1. Connect \(RG\)

\((x^2+\frac{1}{x^2})^2=23+2=25\)

\((x^2+\frac{1}{x^2})^2=25\) Square root both sides

We can do this with the other angle, and it sort of forms a quadrilateral, where we have the two 90 degree angles plus the 34 degrees. therefore BAC=360-90-90-34=146

I'm pretty sure it is just swapping the x for the y

so  f^-1(1) = value of x when y is 1  answer  2

I'm really bad with these problems so this solution is probably wrong, but I'll give it a shot anyway!

If \(23=x^4+\frac{1}{x^4}\) then what is the value of \(x^2+\frac{1}{x^2}\)?

So how I did this is: 

First, I just set \(x^2+\frac{1}{x^2}=y\)

If you square both sides of \(x^2+\frac{1}{x^2}=y\), you get \((a^2)^2 + 2a^2\cdot\frac{1}{a^2} + \left(\frac{1}{a^2}\right)^{\!2} = y^2\). 

So, this means that \(a^4 + \frac{1}{a^4} = y^2-2\).

We know that \(a^4 + \frac{1}{a^4} =23\), so \(y^2-2=23\)

So, we know \(\boxed{y= \pm5}\)

Slightly different method      looking for  y = mx + b

find m slope =   (9-3)/(9-6) = 2

y = 2 x  + b    sub in either point to calculate 'b'

9 = 2(9) + b     b = -9

y = 2x-9

Since we know the 2 points, we can first use point-slope form and then convert it to slope-intercept form. 

Point slope form: \(y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\)

First let's find the slope. The slope is \(m=\frac{3-9}{6-9}=\frac{-6}{-3}=2\)

So, in point slope form we get \(y-9=2(x-9)\)

This is equal to \(y-9=2x-18\)

\(\boxed{y=2x-9}\)

So first of all, we know that the blank angle of the triangle is \(180-(w+47)^{\circ}\)since, it's a straight line.

We also know that 3 angles of a triangle sum to \(180^{\circ}\)(triangle theorem).

So, we know \(w+w+13+180-w-47=180\)

If we combine like terms and simplify, we get:

 \(w+146=180\)

\(\boxed{w=34^\circ}\)

We can check this too: 34+(34+13)+180-34-47=180
