Usng the formula Area = pi · radius2
1) Find the area of the inner-most circle (radius = 1)
2) Find the area of the target, which is outer-most circle (radius = 3)
3) Divide the answer of step 1 by the answer of step 2.
Here is my attempt:
[-25 * -16 * -9 * -4 *-1 *- 1] =14,400
I said nvm solved it for a reason
The proportion is: MP : PN = PN : PO
So, you need to solve: 10 : x = x : 2
a=2;b=0; c=a* 2^a;b=b+c; if(b==2^(a+10), goto5, goto6);printb, a; a++;if(a<1000, goto2, 0)
n = 513
What was the answer for this?
This is due today. Pleeeease help!
100% - 60% decrease = 40%
[40% + (80%*40%) ] =72% or a decrease of: 100% - 72% =28% - Net decrease from 100%
Thank you!
Let the numbe of nickles = N
The number of pennies =N + 6
The number of dimes = N + 1
0.01 *[N + 6] + 0.05N + 0.10*[N+1] =4.80, solve for N
N = 29 Nickles
29 + 6 = 35 Pennies
29 + 1 =30 Dimes.
Yep that's wrong
I got 324 but I might be wrong.
During 7 cold months, the house uses =7 x 200 = 1,400 gallons of oils
1400 + 200 gallons used in the remaining 5 months = 1,600 gallons in total for 1 year.
200 / 1,600 = 12 1/2 % of oil is used to heat the water.
Infinite solutions because if you change the 2nd equation into slope intercept form, it is the exact same equation as the first one. Therefore, the graphs of the two equations intersect on an infinite amount of points.
(srry if my wording is bad).
[528 / (S + 14) + 528 / S] = 22, solve for S
S = 42 mph - average speed comming back
42 + 14 =56 mph - average speed driving to parents.
A = adults
94 - A = Children
2.50A + 1.75(94 - A) =203.50, solve for A
A =52 adults attended the concert
94 - 52 =42 children attended the concert.
Make sure your question is correct. The answer comes out negative!!
one solution
no solution
or infinitely many solutions.
Explain for full marks.
12x + 8y + 4 = 0 (1)
15x + 10y = 5 (2)
Subtract 5 from both sides of (2) 15x + 10y – 5 = 0 (3)
Multiply both sides of (1) by 1.25 15x + 10y + 5 = 0 (4)
Subtract (4) from (3) –10 = 0
Answer to problem no solution because –10 does not equal 0. .

Thanks so much for your help!!!
I got it to work out to 7/4.
Let the number of pounds of $6/Lb = T
Then the number of $5/Lb =16 - T
6T + 5(16 - T) =16 * 5.15, solve for T
T =12 / 5 = 2.4 pounds of $6/lb trail mix
16 - 2.4 =13.6 pounds of $5/lb trail mix.
The area is 14*sqrt(2), which rounds to 19.8.
There are three pairs of positive integers.
Thank you, all three of you, for helping me with this problem.
