Use the Pemdas method to solve this

first the parenthasis (-42/7-3(2))

                                  (-6 - 6)

                                     (-12)

then add -3 to -12

answer: -15

8/9   of   9   is     8

8/9  x  9   =   8/9  x  9/1   =   8/1  = 8    (because the '9's cancel out.....right?)

The wire is the hypotenuse and the tower and the ground are the 'legs' of a right triangle....

remember SOHCAHTOA       Sin x = Opposite/Hypotenuse  ?

opposite = tower = 75     x = 65 degrees      

so the   sin 65 = 75/hypotenuse          

re-arranging:   Hypotenuse =  75 / sin65  = 82.75 ft

12  divided 'by' 3     is   4      divide by   means:   how many times will the 'by' go into the number

that is -8 because you are at -7 and you are minus (adding) the -1. Saying: " Keep, Change, Change"

What does i.e. mean?  Is that an exponent of i or some kind of logarithm?  Do you square it?  is that why you have (-1) ml in the answer? Why do you use this to find ml?

There is 1000ml / l     i.e. 1000ml per liter.....so multiply by 1000  (or 10^3)

1.035 x 10^(-4) x  10^3 = 1.035 x 10^(-1) ml

2*5=10 then  10+10=20
