use the distance formula to find the distance between those 2 points, that is the radius.  Call it R

The formula for the circle witll be

\((x+13)^2+(y+12)^2=R^2\)

The common ratio is -1.5

To find the number of terms, we have

57875 =  8000 [ 1 - (-1.5)^n ]   / [  1 - (-1.5) ]

57875 = 3200 [ 1 - (-1.5)^n ] 

2315/128 = 1 - (-1.5)^n

(-1.5)^n =  1 - 2315/128

(-1.5)^n = -2187/128       n must be odd.....so....we can solve this

1.5^n =  2187/128     take the log of both sides

n log 1.5 =  log (2187/128)

n =    log(2187/128) / log (1.5)   =  7

So....we are looking for the 7th term which is

8000(-1.5)^(7 - 1)  =   91125

Using a circle in the complex plane  centered at (0,0) with a radius of 2 , the 6 roots of 64 are

2, 1 + √3 i , -1 + √3 i , -2, -1 - √3 i , 1 - √3 i

f(x)=−2sin(3x)−1

In the form  Asin (Bx) + C

The amplitude =  l A l   =  l -2 l  = 2

2. What is the equation of the midline for the function f(x) ?

f(x)=3cos(x)−2.5

Note that the max for the function is 3(1) - 2.5   =  0.5

And the min for the function is    3(-1) - 2.5 =  -5.5

To find the midiine.....add these values and divide the sum by 2

So we have

[ . 5  + - 5.5] / 2 =     -5/2 =  -2.5

So....the equation for the midline is   y = -2.5

Why are you facilitating such blatent cheating?  

It is not like this user can beat you up and take your lunch money if you do not help.

If that were the case I would understand better.

I just answered one almost identical to the first question her SO you can do this one yourself!

A sine function has the following key features:

Frequency = 1/8π    I assume you mean  (1/8)pi   ?

Amplitude = 6

Midline: y = 3

y-intercept: (0, 3)

The function is not a reflection of its parent function over the x-axis. Use the sine tool to graph the function. The first point must be on the midline and the second point must be a maximum or minimum value on the graph closest to the first point.

There are 2 answers 

\(y=6sin(2x*8)+3\)

or

\(y=-6sin(2x*8)+3\)

(C): There are a few ways to solve this question:

Quadratic Formula:

Use \(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\)(thanks web2.0calc), and plugging in the values in the form \(ax^2+bx+c\), we attain \(x=\frac{-\left(-2\right)+\sqrt{\left(-2\right)^2-4\cdot \:1\cdot \:2}}{2\cdot \:1}=1+i\) as one root, and \(x=\frac{-\left(-2\right)-\sqrt{\left(-2\right)^2-4\cdot \:1\cdot \:2}}{2\cdot \:1}=1-i\) . Thus, the two roots are \(\boxed{1+i, 1-i}.\)

Completing The Square:

Our main goal is to get it into the form \(x^2+2ax+a^2=\left(x+a\right)^2\), so we have \(x^2-2x+\left(-1\right)^2=-2+\left(-1\right)^2\), and simplifying, we get \(\left(x-1\right)^2=-1=x=i+1\) and \(i-1\) . Thus, the two roots are \(\boxed{1+i, 1-i}.\)

The greatest possible value of xy will occur when x is most nearly equal to y

We have that

So.....xy  is largest when x =  11 and y = 15

I have not watched it but I would have to learn how to do this befor I could teach you and it is Internet sites, often youtube clips, that I learn from.

I just googled "How do I graph a circle in the complex plane."  And this was the first clip that appeared.

You will find it very helpful to become comfortable with very basic coding.

Your post is displaying better now, which is odd because I see no evidence that anyone has edited it. Perhaps it was better than I could see originally and just was not displaying properly.

You can still get rid of the meaningless $ signs though - That would make the question read better.

Don't see where the angle bisector comes into play, here.....

We have that

BC^2 + AB^2 = AC^2

x^2 + 90^2 =  (2x - 6)^2

x^2 + 90^2 =  4x^2 - 24x + 36

3x^2 - 24x  - 8064 = 0

x^2 - 8x - 2688 = 0    this factors as

(x - 56) (x + 48) = 0

x = 56

So....the area is   (1/2)product of leg lengths  = (1/2)(AB)(BC) = (1/2)(90)(56) = 2520 units^2
