Well you are rght it was off the well and it came at the top of my head but what I'm saying it's a bit like a puzzle...well it was but not anymore I'm asking with a self assumption the y intercept is the ramble of digits and x starts as zero what will I have in the next five years

Multiply both sides of the equation by (2x+1)  to get

(2x+1)^2/x + 4x = 10x+5       now multiply by x

(2x+1)^2 + 4x^2 = 10x^2 + 5x     expand left side

4x^2 + 4x + 1   +  4x^2 = 10x^2 + 5x          collect like terms,,,,,and subtract   10x^2 and 5x from both sides

-2x^2 - x +1  = 0

2x^2+x-1 = 0

(2x - 1)( x + 1) = 0      x= 1/2    or  -1

2x/4  + x/4 + x/8  + 507

3x/4  + x/8 + 507

6x/8 + x/8 + 507 =x

7/8 x + 507 = x

507 = 1/8 x

x = 507 (8) = 4056

Slope of this equationa at any given x is given by the derivative

3x^2 - 3   = slope 

At x = 2   slope ==   3(2)^2 - 3 = 9 

Tangent line    y = 9x + b

                    At 2,3      3= 9(2)+b     b = -15

y=9x-15

I will assume that  'opposite vertices' means diagonal corners.....

Find the length of the diagonal

Diagonal^2 = (1-7)^2 + (2-4)^2

                   = 36 + 4

                    = 40

Diagonal = sqrt 40       

It is a square, so the side lengths are all the same....the diagonal makes a right triangle with the sides

s^2 + s^2 = 40 ^2

2s^2=40^2

s^2 = 40^2 / 2

s^2 = 800

s= 28.28   units        Area = s x s = s^2 = 800 units^2
