Trying to find how many combinations there are on a 1980 x 1080 screen? just throwing  wild guess...

Bertie and I passed the same test with high scores. Receiving high marks on a test we didn’t actually take demonstrates how ultra-high brilliants precedes the persons who emanate it.

Sorry, A minor typo: Pi~n + sin(n) + 1/6sin^3(n). So, for n=3,

Pi~3 +0.14112000805986722210074480280811 +  4.6839745574354568941507675299565e-4

Pi~3.1415884055156107677901598795611........1st iteration...........and so on.

The Formula is basically: n=sin(n)+1/6sin^3(n)>>>1st.iteration........the result of which is fed back into the formula and you get the result of the 2nd iteration, which converges quintically to Pi. Example: If n=3, then feeding it into the above formula you get=3.1415884055156107677901598795611. Now, if you feed this result into the formula, you get this result on the 2nd iteration=3.1415926535897932384626433831757, which converges very rapidly towards the actual value of Pi.............and so on. This is obviously in radians, but I don't understand WHY it converges so rapidly, i.e., each iteration quintuples the number of accurate digits of Pi. The 2nd iteration above gave about 27 accurate decimal digits. The third iteration would give: 27 X 5=135 accurate digits(at least). In fact, it gives 140 or so accurate digits........and so on.

Could you retype the formula please ?

If I understand your question, I believe you want to know what "A" is if the anount was:

10,001,000=100(1.1)^A. To solve for A, you have to use Logs as follows:

10,001,000=100(1.1)^A, divide both sides by 100

100,010=1.1^A we take the Logs of both sides,

Log(100,010)=A* Log(1.1)

A=Log(100,010) / Log(1.1)

A=120.80 weeks.

Dear sir/madame, I would like to know about a math problem. If we start with an amoun of 100 and in 100 weeks it becomes 1.3M we increase it weekly by 10 procent. I assume the formula is: 100x1,1^100=1.3 now I would like to know if 1.3 is 1000 1000=100x1,1^A, what is A? Could you please show me the formula to calculate this problem. Many thanks! Awa

If you start with $100 and in 100 weeks you get $1.3M, then the weekly compound rate is slightly less than 10% per week. It's actually 9.94% compounded weekly. At exactly 10% in 100 weeks, your $100 would be worth=1,378,061.23. The formula you would use for this is the following:100(1+10%)^100=100X1.1^100=100 X 13,780.6123=$1,378,061.23.

[ Pi/4  - 22arctan(1/38) -17arctan(7/601)] / 10  = arctan(a/b)     ......means that

tan ( [ Pi/4  - 22arctan(1/38) -17arctan(7/601)] / 10 )   = a / b

7/ 8149  =   a / b

32 = 2^(t / 2)

2^5 = 2^(t / 2)      since the bases are equal, we can solve for the exponents

5 = t / 2              multiply boh sides by 2

10  = t

Amber and my mom usually think it is gross or rude too.  It really depend on when I do it. Sometimes they think it is funny too. Amber do more than my mom.  Burping and farting is mostly a boys code. I not really know why we think it is so funny. Maybe it is the reaction we get from girls. :)  Your brother know it make you mad and that sort of give him a power. Nauseated is unhappy about being left off the high end mathematicians list      , I do not wish to offend any one, not EVEN Nauseated, so, here you are, consider yourself tacked on the end of the 'high end' list.  

Also:

You have many great skills Nauseated, many realate to being nauseating and infuriating but you do have a few other unique skills as well.  I think you must have unlimited access to Morgan Le Faye's crystal Orb. This Orb does not only tell the future it also has great powers of location.  You constantly impress me with your great powers of location.  In this thread you have located the exact post that you wanted even though it was written some 9 months ago.  Could anyone other than the great Nauseated do that?  It be unlikely!   Plus you have your wonderous book of probablility formulas. You have probably kept this safe since you were a child a century or two ago. That is a great feat.  Many great men would have misplaced said magical book. 

So Nauseated, I hope that you now forgive me my "minor oversight".    

Thank you Melody. I not write this year’s Christmas stories yet I usually do it after the new year.  I have another one from 2 years ago. Really I have two more. The other one is from last year and is partly Marisol’s birthday and partly Christmas time stories.  It is a long narrative and it not make any sence if I not pos the whole thing. Yeah I know what you mean about the supernatural things. I really not know why full grown adults believe these things.  Sometimes I feel like I live in the dark ages. It get so old and tiring hearing this BS all the time.  I figure out Santa is not real before I was 6 and I figure out the religion is not real before I was 12. I guess some do and some don't. :/
