Is your post showing 110 1/4 as a mixed number, or are you trying to say 110 multiplied by 1/4.

I'm going to assume the former.

110 1/4 = 110.25

-50 1/2 = -50.5

110.25 - 50.5 = 59.75

Your post is very confusing. What exactly is your question?

If my knowledge on commission is correct, you should just multiply 1/32 by 24,000 to get the commission.

When you divide a fraction by a fraction, you can just multiply the fraction on top by the reciprocal of the fraction on the bottom. In this case, you would multiply 1/4 by 7/2 to get 7/8

You will need to convert from exponential form to logarithm form. So first, divide both sides by four to get:

0.25^x = 1.875

Now you can convert to logarithm. The base (0.25) will become the base of the logarithm, the 1.875 will move to the side of the equation with the log, and the x will be by itself on the other side of the equals sign:

log_0.25 1.875 = x

Now you need to convert the logarithm to base 10 so you can input it into the calculator. You can use this equation to convert it:

log_b y = log_a y/log_a b

b = the base of the original logarithm (in this case 0.25)

a = the base we want to convert to (in this case 10)

y = the number in front of the original logarithm (in this case 1.875)

log_0.25 1.875 = log₁₀ 1.875 / log₁₀ 0.25

Since log_0.25 1.875 = x we can substitute it for x to get:

x = log₁₀ 1.875 / log₁₀ 0.25

Now just plug those into the calculator to find x.

A. -18⁰

-12 - 6 = -18

This is a absolute value function, so that means that the vertex is when the graph changes direction.

The vertex is at (h, k) h is the opposite of the number inside the absolute value bars (so not 2, but -2). k is the number that is added or subtracted (in this case, -4).

So the vertex is at (-2, -4)

The axis of symmetry would be what x equals at the vertex. In this problem, the axis of symmetry would be:

x = -2

Lastly, the parent function is |x|. Without an a value (as is the case in this problem), you can find the transformations just by comparing the vertex of the parent function to the vertex of the problem fucntion. The vertex in the parent function is (0, 0) so that means this graph is shifted two units to the left (left because x is negative in the transformed function), and 4 units down (down because y is negative transformed function).

ANSWER nothing it says can you answer this riddle...and you cant.

Tracey is looking at two different travel agencies to plan her vacation.ABC Travel offers a plane ticket for 295$and a rental car for 39$ a day. M&N Travel offers a plane ticket for 350$ and a rental car33$ a day.What is the minimum number of days that Tracey's vacation should be for M&N Travels to have a better deal?

$295 +$39D = $350 + $33D

$39D - $33D =$350 - $295

$6D = $55

D=55/6 =9 1/6 days - when they will be the same.So,

9+1 =10 days - when M&N Travels will be a better deal.

To write this problem on with numbers instead of words, it would look like this:

5.32 * 10⁸ - 4.6 * 10⁶

To be able to subtract things with different exponents you need to convert one of them to the other. So let's convert the 10⁶ to 10⁸. Keep in mind when you are doing this you are raising the 10 by 2 powers of ten. This means that you must reduce the number it is multiplied by (in this case 4.6) by two powers of ten.

When you want to reduce a number by powers of ten, you need to move the decimal place to the left for each power of ten that you reduce it. In this case, you need to move the decimal to the left twice and you will get .046

Now you can subtract the two terms:

5.32 * 10⁸ - 0.046 * 10⁸ ----> 5.274 * 10⁸

So 5.274 * 10⁸ is the answer.

Copy and paste this into the calculator: 2*sqrt(5)+sqrt(7)/2

Then look at the display to see if it looks inputted right because I was not sure if you wanted the whole problem divided by 2 or just the square root of 7.

3=(1+r/365)^365(19)

3=(1 + r/365)^6935

Log(3) =6935 Log(1 + r/365)

0.477121 =6935 Log(1 + r/365)

Log(1 + r/365) =6.87990e-5

1 + r/365 = 1.00015843

r/365 = .00015843

r =.00015843 x 365

r=0.0578 x 100

r = 5.78% compounded daily.

                                                                             3  =  (1 + r/365)^365·19

Multiply 365 by 19:                                            3  =  (1 + r/365)⁶⁹³⁵

Find the 6935 power of 3:                       3^1/6935  =  1 + r/365

Subtract 1 from both sides:                3^1/6935 - 1  =  r/365

Multiply both sides by 365:    3659( 3^1/6935 - 1 ) =  r

Calculate:                                                                                             r  =  5.78%        (approximately)

                                                           d  =  ½(f + i)t

Multiply both sides by 2:               2d  =  (f + i)t

Divide both sides by t:                 2d/t  =  f + i

Subtract i from both sides:      2d/t - i  =  f

78114 / 192     --->     80000 / 200

Crossing out two zeros from both the numerator and denominator:

                          --->     800 / 2

                          --->        400,  not 40.

In the equation:  y  =  mx + b                             m  is the slope   and   b  is the y-intercept.

y  =  (3x/2) - 5     --->     y  =  (3/2)x - 5           (3/2)  is the slope   and   -5  is the y=intercept

Any line parallel to this line has a slope of  3/2     and

any line perpendicular to this line has a slope of -2/3.

So any line perpendicular to  y  =  (3/2)x - 5     has this form:     y  =  (-2/3)x + b

Now, take any five different values for b; for instance,  y  =  (-2/3)x + 17   and   y  =  (-2/3)x - 247,

etc.

                                         -7 + 11g  =  9 - 5g

Add  5g  to both sides:  -7 + 16g  =  9

Add  7  to both sides:             16g  =  16

Divide both sides by 1:               g  =  1

The integers between  -4.7  and  2 2/5:     -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2

Two irration numbers between  1  and  2:     sqrt(2)  and  sqrt(3)

One possible estimate:  600 / 0.05,  or  12,000.
