We don't have anything to "solve" here, Dragon....just to "expand"....

I take it that you meant:  (25x)(x+5)

Taking it term by term ,we have  (25x)*(x) = 25x^2

And (25x)*(5) = 125x

So putting this all together gives us

25x^2 + 125x   ....!!!

Or the x might mean multiplication.

You have to do the same, though.

25 times x is 25x.

25 times 5 is 125. 

You would get:

25x+125

The correct answer is Stevie Wonder Dragon.

Bob X Joe= Joespeh X Robert -Bill= Stevie   

7X3=21 21 X Stevie = Wonder   so that means Stevie Wonder is your answer.

You have to distibute 25x to x and 5.

25x times x is 25x squared.

25x times 5 is 125x.

Your final solution is:

25x^2+125x

The question says to multiply, Monomials......

I can't solve it, There is nothing to solve!

I can expand it though.

$$25x(x+5)=25x*x+25x*5=25x^2+125x$$

Obviously 73 and a half? I don't understand how nobody has tried putting pancakes on their roof. They cook well on a sunny day, but are kind of dirty.

If the last part is meant to be the length of the vector sum of u and v, then you have to sum the components first, before calculating the length, not add the lengths of the individual vectors together.

I assume you have a function that's probably fx) = x² - 2x + 3 and you have to evaluate it at x = 1/2.  In which case you have written it down ok, so you just need to complete it:

(1/2)*(1/2) - 2*(1/2) + 3 = 1/4 -1 +3 = 1/4 + 2 = $$2\frac{1}{4}$$

Yes, in part 1 that's quite right.  But in part 2, you have pink1_glued_to_pink2 as different from  pink2_glued_to_pink1.  

Here's another way of thinking about part 2.

Imagine the two pink b***s are together in positions 1 and 2.  There are 8!/(3!*5!) = 56 ways of arranging the others.  Now move the pink b***s to positions 2 and 3.  There are another 56 ways of arranging the others.  Now move the pink b***s ...etc.  There are 9 positions where you can have the two pink b***s together in this way, so in total there are 9*56 = 504 ways the two pink b***s can be together (this is half your number).

All this assumes the positions are ordered of course.  For example it assumes that ppooowwwww is different from wwwwwooopp (you mustn't look at the b***s from the other side!!).

I don't know Alan, probablility is one big mystery to me.

I thought I did. Isn't that what the 2! on the bottom is for? p1,p2=p2,p1 so I divided by 2?
