The Backslash indicates that what follows is a function.  That probably does not make much sense to you but don't worry.

I will try to solve this.

{CORRECTION}: I did not read that it wanted product

A is between -3, and 1

So the possibilities are -3, -2, -1, 0, 1

B is between -2 and 4

So the possibilities are -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4

Not counting zero, A has 3 negative, B has 2 negative

Not counting zero, A has 2 positive, B has 4 positive

A and B must both be negative, or positive

A negative possibiliteis * B negative possibilities = 3/4 * 2/6 = 6/24 = 1/4

A positive possibilities * B positive possibilities = 1/4 * 4/6 = 4/24 = 1/6

1/4 + 1/6 = 3/12 + 2/12 = 5/12

If you use the LaTex box don't worry about the dollar signs.

Usually there are dollar signs around the numbers

Interval: $[2, 1]$

There are backslashes and brackets for polynomials??

Fractions use: /frac {1}{2}, (1/2)

Then I created a system of equations to solve:

1a + 2s = 18

1a + 7s = 43

1a = 18-2s

Substution:

18-2s + 7s = 43

5s + 18 = 43

s = 5

If s = 5, then a = 8

1 Adult Ticket = $8.00

1 Student Ticket = $5.00

Area = 2(pi - 2)

(3/5) / 72 = (2/5) / x

x = 48

72 + 48 = 120 

   x     -   2/5 x    - 28   = 44

  3/5 x =  72

x = 120 dollars to start
