... how do I know im not talking to a high-school dropout? Or a person who doesnt know squat about math besides what Google feeds him

You don’t know; it’s irrelevant. I only need to know a little more than you for the presented subject and question. Here’s an analogy: Let’s say were walking in the forest, discussing math and chemistry. While we’re walking, a bear comes out of the woods looking for lunch, and charges at us.   We run for our lives. I can’t outrun the bear, but I don’t need to; I only need to run faster than you... The bear gets his lunch (and a severe case of indigestion) and I live another day –and maybe long enough to complete high school.

Vinculum is a high school student. He’s not a dropout, but he’s not completed the requirements for a diploma; yet, he answered your chemistry question.  He knows more than you about this subject, and that all that is required.  I will point out that while his method is correct his final answer is WRONG. He made a math mistake. I recognized it instantly, but I didn’t comment on it because I was curious if you were going to step through the process to learn how to do these problems, or if you were just going to plop the answer on your homework and call it good. If you had stepped through it, you would have caught this mistake.

How dare I ask a Chemistry Problem when theres literally people asking for simple division problems, fractions, addition. Those people dont get condemed. hmmm... Seems that you just targeted me.

I think chemistry problems are great! Especially when the asker knows it’s a chemistry problem.  It appears that you and Builderboi, [“I mean, I have no clue what the heck that is, but it looks like math,” source] did not know this. I’m amazed that Builderboi, who is very skilled and accomplished in advanced high school math, didn’t have a clue.

Chemistry, and other science questions requiring applied mathematics to solve, is a great way to learn math.  I wish there were more applied mathematics on this forum. In years past there were a lot more chemistry and physics questions, and some of them were very advanced.

They do get condemned –that is I troll them. But only on occasion, else half the posts on this forum would be troll posts.  Here’s a post where Melody “trolls” a poster.

Here’s an excerpt from a post where I comment on this issue.

The forum is morphing into a homework cheating site for morons and, lately, retards. There is nothing new about this descent into the maelstrom of stupid: here’s a post from 2018 delineating the problems and descent into the moron  and submoron level:

 https://web2.0calc.com/questions/should-you-consider-anything-before-you-answer-a-question#r17

This post https://web2.0calc.com/questions/half-donuts_1. This third-grade question outlines the entrenched half-brain imbecile group. These brain-dead elementary questions (usually percentage questions) are asked by remediated senior high school students.

... This commentary continues for several more paragraphs

You can read the rest of it here:

Seems that you just targeted me.

Yes, I did target you. You are worthy. You seem to have a few more brain cells than the average of morons on here, but your extra brain cells seem to be inactive, possibly inert. You will not learn anything if others do your home work for you. If someone presents a solution to one of your questions then you need to redo the work to learn it (and to catch mistakes, like the one above). Otherwise they are just suppositories that you shove up your ass and then forget the next time you take a shit.

Your life is your own, Elijah. However if you want to be something other than a turd in a cesspool of stupid, you will need to do your homework and apply yourself well beyond the minimum requirements for moronhood.  Those are the rules
