Rearrange the terms to make the equation
\({x}^{2}-6x+{y}^{2}-6y=-2\)
Complete the square for x and y to get
\({x}^{2}-6x+9+{y}^{2}-6y+9=16\)
Factor
\((x-3)^2+(y-3)^2=4^2\)
From this form of the equation, we know that the center of the circle is (3, 3) and the radius is 4.
If you don't understand how to get the center and radius from that equation...
Make the equation of the circle in the form
\((x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2\)
Where \((h, k)\) is the center of the circle and \(r\) is the radius.
Apply this to the equation above and you will get your solution.
