School is definitely on in the US.  The forum has already become much busier.  It is a very good thing that so many of you are dedicated to answering questions and to helping other students learn.  Today our answerers are TakahiroMaedo, Aliammar, Alan, Kitty<3, CPhill, AfroThundr3007730, AzizHusain, DragonSlayer554 and GoldenLeaf.   A very big thank you to each of you.

Question 5 is right.  

Question 11   There may be a 'normal' method for doing this, I am not a physics specialist.

They are really good

=x^2+x+2x+2-2x-10\\
=x^2+x-8\\$$

While you are at it, add a Troll category. There is at least one, very funny, professional classed, troll on here. :)

There are many ways to do so. I simply get the number and mutiply it with the percentage in decimal. For Example: 1 is 100%, 0.4 is 40% ect.

if you were to find 40 percent of 500 you would do this:

40% of 500 would be 200

Um... If I understand correctly, to make any mathematical expression with the number 3 in it?

If you are asking 81.11 Plus 15% of 84.11, this is how you answer it.

First you need to know what 15% of 84.11 is. To do this, you need to just do a simple equation. We mutiply the Number by the percentage in a decimal form. 1 meaning 100%. So 15% would be 0.15.

Now we do the mutiplication.

$${\mathtt{84.11}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{0.15}} = {\mathtt{12.616\: \!5}}$$

15% of 84.11 is 12.6165

How we add them together.

$${\mathtt{84.11}}{\mathtt{\,\small\textbf+\,}}{\mathtt{12.616\: \!5}} = {\mathtt{96.726\: \!5}}$$
